The Stompers (also known as The Stour Valley Stompers) are an experienced seven piece Dixieland Traditional Jazz Swing band from Dorset.

"Our style is based upon traditional jazz and is a good contrast to the many other genres of jazz. Our foot tapping tunes are an ideal accompaniment to your event or party. We have played many times at the Larmer Tree Gardens on their open stage for weddings.

In recent years we have appeared alongside famous names associated with Trad Jazz including: Kenny Ball, Acker Bilk, Terry Lightfoot, Pete Allen and Humphrey Lyttleton."

Description
A pair of tickets for the Revival Meeting at Goodwood on Sunday, 8th September 2024

The Goodwood Circuit’s original period was 1948 - 1966 and had to close then because it was no longer safe for modern racing cars.  Charles, Duke of Richmond and Gordon revived the family circuit in 1998, exactly 50 years after it first opened, and has created this unique world class event, celebrating the glory days of iconic motor racing, vintage aircraft and fashion of the 1950s and 1960s.  This year commemorates D-Day and there will be Spitfires and Dakotas in the static aircraft display, and guests are invited to wear clothes of the era. Due to the popularity of this spectacle, tickets to the public have already sold out.
